New Product Trends and Innovations Featured at the DAS 2017 Travel Center Show
Palymra, PA (May 2017) – New products, informative seminars, innovation and fun were all part of the record-breaking 2017 Travel Center Show hosted by DAS Companies, Inc., a full-service marketing and supply chain portfolio company. The DAS Travel Center Show, was an invitation-only event, and took place May 10-11 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square/Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster, PA. The show floor displayed over 220 brands, that the nearly 500 attendees could interact with and experience. This event provided a perfect opportunity for the attendees, representing over 2,500 store fronts, to view the latest in trends and technologies, build relationships and expand partnerships. “The Travel Center Show provides the ideal environment for strengthening and building our relationships with our partners,” said Chuck White, Vice President, Brands and Marketing for DAS Companies, Inc. “We continue to improve the experience for our customers, and those efforts are apparent in the continued success of the show.” Industry experts led informative seminars to record attendance on innovations, trends, social media and loyalty marketing programs to enhance the customer experience and provide valuable insight on engaging today’s customer. This year’s New Product Gallery featured the latest in product trends and innovations coming to travel centers throughout the US and Canada. Attendees could vote for their favorites as they browsed these offerings from industry leading brands and show sponsors and take part in over 2,500 show-only deals. The 2017 Merchandising Solutions showcase featured over 1,000 square feet of visually appealing, turn-key solutions that embraced shopper-centric thinking to engage and influence customer behavior. Other must-see locations on the show floor included MobileSpec, a member of the RoadPro® Family of Brands, which introduced over 200 new mobile technology solutions in charging, audio and protection products. The RoadPro booth also included a prize wheel and information on the all new RoadPro Rewards loyalty marketing program. The attendees were given the opportunity to sign up for the RoadPro retail partner program that rewards truckers for engagement with qualifying products, downloading articles or watching informative videos. After the first day filled with engaging events and a busy show floor, customers enjoyed dinner and heard from company founder David Abel, who thanked the attendees for their support and dedication to their partnerships with DAS. The dinner was followed by an evening of entertainment that included a live band, food and beverages, and various games such as foosball, pool, air hockey and simulated racing.
