DAS Promotes Rex Berfield to National Sales Manager—Consumer Electronics
May 24, 2012; Palmyra, PA—Today, DAS is pleased to announce the promotion of Rex Berfield to National Sales Manager—Consumer Electronics. Rex is specifically responsible for driving the satisfaction of our Consumer Electronics Retail Partners to ensure their productive, profitable growth. Rex also partners with DAS’s Category Managers to build effective supplier programs, and with DAS’s Inside Sales & Service (ISIS) Team to ensure best-in class service.
Over a 20 year career, Rex worked for market leader Pioneer Electronics in increasing responsibilities from Product Specialist, to Regional Sales Manager, and National Accounts Manager. In the first half of his Pioneer career, Rex worked directly with distributors and retailers in the Mid-Atlantic region, a core DAS market. His success is evidenced by the awards he earned and the positions he held during his years at Pioneer. Rex then served as Pioneer’s National Account Manager for Circuit City and Crutchfield, driving dramatic partnership growth. “Rex has extensive customer relationships, insightful product knowledge, and deep passion to serve this market, we are delighted to recognize his leadership role in this market” say Charles White, Vice President, Marketing & Development. “This is another investment in DAS’s heightened commitment to the CE market, especially 12-volt, in-vehicle technology.”
