DAS Adds Key Sales & Service Personnel for Wilson®, Francis®, and Astatic® Brands
March 20, 2012; Palmyra, PA—Today, DAS is pleased to announce the hiring of key personnel to ensure best-in-class sales and service of the recently acquired Wilson, Francis and Astatic brands. DAS acquired all rights to the brands from Barjan LLC, a privately-held distributor of general merchandise based in Rock Island, IL. For decades, these brands have served Professional Drivers and CB Enthusiasts across North America with popular antennas, radio microphones, and CB accessories.
All of the key hires join DAS with direct brand management, sales, and customer service experience with these brands. Gary Hill, Brand & Sales Manager, will continue to manage the brands and lead sales to distributors. Gary has 30 years of experience in the CB accessories market. Gary is joined by fellow teammates Shannon Craigmiles, Anne McClafin, and Terry Goldstein, who will serve as Senior Inside Sales Specialist, Inside Sales Specialist, and Customer Service Specialist, respectively. The Inside Sales & Service (ISIS) team will operate from an Illinois-based satellite office in concert with a 13-person, headquarter-based ISIS team. “Given their extensive customer relationships, insightful product knowledge, and deep passion to serve this market, we are delighted to transition these key personnel to the DAS Team” says Charles White, Vice President, Marketing & Development. Not only will these new ISIS Team members represent the Wilson, Francis, and Astatic brands, they will offer the complete RoadPro Family of Brands and the 12,000 products in DAS’s global product portfolio. The ISIS Team will focus service on Specialty CB & Consumer Electronics Retailers. Previously added personnel will support Travel Centers and Heavy Duty Dealers.
